Yes I just watched Mary Poppins, I haven't seen this movie in over 30 years, the last time I saw it was at the drive-in and they closed the drive-ins down here around 1975, some things your just don't forget, like the great songs, the still good for it's age dance routine, and Dick Van Dykes excreable attempt at a cockney accent... He slipped in and out so much he sounded more australian than cockney..

hehe, but it was still fun.

That's a great movie, it's up there with The Wizard of Oz.

almost as good, but i thouroghly enjoyed seeing it again, since i was so young the first time i saw it, i didnt really remember much at all.

I love that movie. But them, most of movie collection is kids' movies anyway *blush*. You know, the chimney sweep scene actually made it into the list of all time scariest movie scenes 0_o. Not for me; I think the scariest thing about that movie was Dick Van Dyke *grin*.

I loved that scene, i thought the dancing was excellent..

and yes Dick was very scary


apparantly Julie Andrews destested him, and thought his acting in the movie was atrocious, closely followed by his accent.
