wow..

I just saw The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe for the first time.

I know these books back to front, upside down and inside out, I was prepared for them to have mucked it up, modified so it wasn't the original story..

But they didn't.

I know how the story goes, and even *I* was on the edge of the seat, and it made me cry.

it was just.. wow..

I love the scene where the dwarf is getting ready to kill the injured Edmund and gets shot with an arrow - "Ack!"

Not in the books, but still. ;D

For some reason, battle scenes really get me emotional and exited and teary-eyed. I dunno why. Was the same way with LOTR during the battles in the three movies. Was very exciting. The anticipation that builds as the two armies close on each other and suddenly meet.

Glad you liked it! When I have some money saved up I am going shopping for DVD's, and it's certainly on the list!

no, not in the book, but not intrusive at all!

it fitted nicely, as did the modified bits with the white witch.. and Tilda Swinton was magnificent as her.

I was really pleased with the way they translated it into film - the bits they added are, for the most part, not intrusive and the parts they cut were understandable.

I cried too!
