This is for [livejournal.com profile] dewhitton and [livejournal.com profile] ships

This arose from a conversation in IRC that [livejournal.com profile] dewhitton and I were having about some stories of his that were demanding that he write them down, the stories can be read here at [livejournal.com profile] ships, below is the conversation about this particular Ship, Sirocco.

*batty* The clothes they wear on their faxes are like black body suits with a gold pattern that matches their own. Each ship has a unique pattern. Their faces are all different. they each "average" a bunch of different human faces to make their own. But they have practically no expression. On the breast each ship has it's name wirtten in the alien script of their home-world. The only one with anything different is a destroyer named DE52YYX. She want's to be called "Sirocco" because she saw a sailing boat named that and liked the word. "My name sounds like an expression of distaste. Yiks. It is unacceptable."
