Well, THAT was fun, there I was 11.20 last night happily chatting away in IRC when the line drops out, well thats not unusual, however the NOISE on my phone line was. So there I was unplugging phones and switch boxes and modem cords, trying to see what the problem was, and then the line died totally. OH WONDERFUL. Dead phone line, frantically hoping that it was a problem at one of the main switching things, rather than at my end, because I know how long it takes Telstra to fix residential phone problems, I went to bed and played Civ3 instead and hoped that the morning would bring better news.. as you can tell it did.
Now all I have to do is plug all the bloody phones back in 8-)
