Oh dear, well that was an interesting feeling, i've never been torn in two before while watching football like that, on one hand I am a dyed in the wool Kangaroos supporter, and on the other hand I have a soft spot for Wayne Carey, so I wanted the Roos to win, but I wanted Carey to play well for the Crows, but knowing that if Carey played well then the Crows would most likely win, and guess what, Carey played well, the Crows won, but I dont feel upset.
Personally I think the Roos brought the loss on themselves, from early on it was clear that some of the were only there to try and get revenge on Carey, they lacked discipline, and allowed emotion to get in the way of playing the game, not realising that the best way of getting revenge on Carey if they really HAD to, was to win.
I think it's about time that everyone just moved on from the whole sordid affair, including the Roos and the media, enough is enough, it was over a year ago.
sheesh
