Jan. 20th, 2004 02:02 pmToday is a day of total fire ban, its already 30 something degrees C and there is a fast and hot northerly blowing.
Today also is day of total watering ban, this means you cant under any circumstances decide you want to water your lawn, garden, footpath, car etc etc.
So why on a day of total fire ban can I smell BBQs, and total BTW means NO bbqs whatsover, gas or otherwise in the open.. and why on a day of total watering ban does my across the fence and down two neighbour decide that it doesnt apply to him, and water his lawn?
Theres a reason we have total fire and watering ban days... but it seems to elude some people.
