Nov. 18th, 2007 12:50 pmRight, I know this is probably a long shot, but I'm after the name of an animated cartoon/movie that was probably made about 18-22 years ago, I remember seeing it on the TV in possibly 1986ish maybe.
It wasn't part of a series, it was a definite one off and it went for at least an hour, possibly even longer.
I am rather hazy on details but what I do remember is that there was a male (he may or may not have been a teenager) and a female, she thought he was a bit of pain, (i think) and the premise was that at some point in time Humans had virtually handed over the running of the world to robots, the robots did all the jobs, etc etc, which was fine until something happened to the robots and they turned on the humans, no one knew why.
The two protagonists set out to find the source of why the robots had gone bad, and they find that the person controlling the robots is a bratty child, who basically started the war because he was bored and because he could.
There was some nifty music with the animation, which is why it makes me think it was a movie at least.
So can anyone help?
