I brought Animal Crossing for the Gamecube, after reading several great reviews about it, it looked like a game I would really enjoy playing.. and I do..


BUT..

Playing it makes me feel very ill, I don't know what it is, but I started playing and no more than 30 mins later I was feeling very queasy, I had to stop playing or else i would have thrown up...

I am exceedingly pissed off by my reaction to it, unfortunately I was exactly the same with Spyro, but at least I could play that for an hour at a time before nausea set in..

Not fair..

It's the cuteness that's getting to you. That game is so sickeningly cute and pointless that you're feeling the ill effects of your brain melting.

Seriously, maybe the game has too low of a refresh rate.

Man, that's a bummer.
Isn't there a video store near by where you can rent the games before you go and make such purchases?
If it was in the last few days, would it be possible to return said game explaining the situation you're having?

Often at times I grow bored of AC, simply because at the beginning when you are working for Nook he gives you jobs and shit to do. But once he lets you go you sort of take over the plot of the game yourself. I mean, if you REALLY tried hard you could make enough money in ONE DAY to buy the big house ($1M bells) and then the game is pretty much done.

Well, that and I get eyestrain. Hope you are feeling better! It really is an addictive game! Have fun!

PS: What's the name of your town? Would be nice if you could come and meet me in Leopard sometime.

nah, I got it off ebay, i'll just resell it on, it only cost me just over half what its selling for in the shops.. i wont lose any money on it.
