boodieI had a phone call today from my Aunty Lesley, which in itself was nice, she caught me up on all the gossip and stuff, but the thing that always gets me is that out of all of my Aunts, Lesley is the one who sounds the most like my Mum, she also looks the most like my Mum.
So when the phone rang and I heard the voice, I had as I usually do that little twitchy jump when I hear the voice that sounds so much like my Mum, but isnt. Mum died just over 4 years ago, but even now when the phone rings, there is still a little bit of me that thinks its going to be Mum on the phone, like it used to be, or when a car pulls up outside, it's going to be Mum.
Then of course my Aunt had to bring up both Mum and Nan, and I'm already trying NOT to cry
