Date: 2004-08-29 10:28 am (UTC)Sadly, though, this has gone on for centuries. Grim's tales are notorious for taking oral tradition, and homogonizing the stories to make them entertaining. They were entertaining, originally, but they were also valuable life lessons, as well...and not nearly as "Happily Ever After" as Grim made them.
