boodieThe power was off today from 8.30 until just on 4pm, the Hydro were restringing power poles, one of the nice things about the power being off, was the total and utter silence in the house, both ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
elven_sorceress and doobie went out, so there was just me and the cats, there was no background hum from the fridge, no noise of the computer, no lights from the router/modem, nothing.
Just total and utter silence, it was VERY refreshing, I was productive, I did assigment Five and most of Assignment Six, I communed with the cats, and whenelven_sorceress and doobie both got home, we sat around talking and laughing, it was great, I love my kids heaps, sometimes they seem to be growing up too fast and getting further away, doobie will be Fifteen next month, and elven_sorceress will be Eighteen in four months time, so it was nice to connect with both of them at the same time.
