NINE men who pleaded guilty last month to gang-raping a 10-year-oldgirl at the Aurukun Aboriginal community on Cape York have escaped a prison term, with the sentencing judge saying the child victim"probably agreed" to have sex with them.

I don't care WHO the fuck you are, what race, religion, or age, there is NO WAY that a child of 10 can willingly and knowingly agree to have sex with nine different men, ages ranging from 14 to 26 and know what the consquences are. How can we let this happen, what message does this send to the child, to the rapists, to anyone else who now thinks that they can get away with something similar.

There are just NO words to describe how wrong, this is all is.

I hope she is also of the opinion, when the probable consequences of her decision play out, that by agreeing to probation and no recorded convictions, and no immediate imprisonment, all of the defendants who wind up dead or injured were agreeing to accept justice at the hands of the girl's family and supporters, since justice is not what they got in that courtroom.

Well there certainly needs to be some form of custodial sentence handed down.

I dont't care if the 10 year old girl said yes no one normal has sex with a 10yo, no one normal takes advantage of a confused child like that. no one.
