I had to succumb, I had to go and get the heater from the loungeroom and bring it into my bedroom, it was too cold to breathe properly in here, and that's a horrible feeling, it will kill my electricity bill, but if I can't breathe, I can't function.

so so cold.

I saw your comment just after you posted it. It's cold cold cold here in New South Wales as well but I doubt if it's as cold as Tassie. I have been sleeping a lot to keep warm as I have done in the past. Reaching 65 and having a swag of bills in the mailbox doesn't help.

I believe I dreamed ("had a night thought process") of freezing in Tasmania a couple of nights ago. I emerged with a new word (from the dream) for this state of revised being but have forgotten it.

I hear you on the bills, my electricity bill is already overdue, i'll have to pay that off in installments, and not even really into winter yet.
