I can understand why not.

That said, it's pretty good detection that you two are connected in some manner. It's picked out people I'm related to, without any friends in common (as far as I knew, anyway).

If you go to their profiles and block them, Facebook will never recommend them again. (They won't be notified in any way that you've blocked them, they will just never see recommendations for you either.)
