Probably disappointed, as my goal in life from the time I was about four, til it was taken from me when I was sixteen was to be a teacher, I firmly believed I would make a great teacher. But they closed the teaching college down the year I started grade 10, and I had to rethink my career path.

I ended up in childcare/working with disabled adults and children, but it wasn't the same thing at all.

I'd likely say, "What the hell are you doing? I thought you hated kids, and here you are being a special education aide! HOLY CRAP DUDE!!"

Then I'd have to smack my twelve year old self upside the head a few times and say, "Yeah, but I get weekends and holidays off, and the work is stress free. So bugger off, you little twit."
