when I was out shopping this morning, I was privileged to hear one half of a phone conversation, it went approximately like this.


"it's me"
"i'm sorry"
"I won't do it again"
"can I come round and see you"
"I really am sorry"
"Can I at least see the kids"
"but its easter, i have eggs for them for sunday"
"I really do love you and the kids"
"Please (said almost crying)"
"What do I have to do to prove I didn't mean it"
"In the supermarket"
"dont hang up, please, I love you, she meant nothing"


and there I had to leave.
