Well the house is still standing, and I'm wondering how the hell it managed to survive what have been called almost cyclonic wind speeds, all I know is that it hit the house around 4am or so, woke me up, frightened the shit out of me and the cats, and we all sat, quivering and wondering if the roof would hold, or if the next thing to hit the window would break it.

Not a great deal of sleep was had by any of us.

Took the power out for a short while here, and totally in Glenorchy, so no shopping was done today.

This house may be a heap of shit, but damn it's a solid heap of shit.
