You know sometimes it doesnt take very much at all to make me remember that as well as the nasty side of human nature, there are people out there who really make you believe that, yes we might actually NOT end up wiping ourselves off the face of the planet.

I belong to a LJ community called kittypix one of our more popular and loved posters is oh_rissa, she has lots of kitties and recently enthralled us with the tale of rescuing and caring for Runty McRunterson, who became so popular she ended up with her own community runty_love, sadly oh_rissa's life has taken an unexpected and dissapointing turn, and this meant that oh_rissa had to rehome six of her kitties, ugotogal posted to kittypix and with an outpouring of love, support, money and more importantly hope, all of oh_rissa's kitties have now found places to be rehomed to, and even though oh_rissa's heart is breaking at the thought of having to give up her kitties, at least she has the comfort of knowing that the people who will have them will love and care for them.

Doesn't take much to make a difference to someone.
