oh the pain the pain

As some of you might know, money has been rather tight here the past few months, so that means that I haven't been able to afford the little extras that I normally have on hand, and that includes painkillers.

In my drawer I have a box of NeurofenPlus, it works for most things for me, but because I haven't been able to buy any more, there's only four tablets left.

In the last two months there have been several times when I've been in what I consider extreme amounts of pain, from cramps, bladder infection, etc, but because I know theres only four tablets left, each time I've looked at them and said 'I can't take these, what if I REALLY need them later on, what if there's some really bad pain and I dont have anything to take the edge off'

So that means I have gritted my teeth through pain that I normally would medicate the hell out of, using only a hot water bottle and sheer bloodymindedness, for a WHAT IF and a JUST IN CASE.

Going by that I'll never use those four tablets, because I can always imagine a time when I might have worse pain.

Damn my imagination *grin*

Dr??? Dr??/ whats one of those, there are no bulk billing Drs around here anymore, and the only Dr that is is the afterhours clinic and they dont prescribe pain killers of any sort..

Thats why I stick to over the counter pain relief.

Oh I'm feeling fine, the cramps from hell only happen once a month and the bladder infection, well I hope that never happens again 8-)

Yeah, times like that I'm glad I'm a guy. Lilybet has similar problems with that sort of thing, although she also has prescription painkillers for another condition.

But she swears by the Neurophen, only recently discovered the plus variant, which apparently works much better.
