New people moved in next door on thursdayish, they have a screaming baby, they also appear to be sanding the floors of the house, but they started this at 7.30 am this morning.. co incidentally they started sanding and the baby started screaming. The baby has stopped screaming, but the sanding continues, an annoying low level bzzzzzzzzzz just on the edge of my hearing.

I want to kill them, but that would only make the sanding take longer.

Awww, it's not the baby's fault! Crappy about the sanding though. That is WAY too early to be starting in the morning. Especially on a Sunday. Weird.

Well, what you need is some mechanical device that makes a buzzing noise, and use it at loud volume. Possibly accompanied with screaming.
