notes from a scab
Mar. 21st, 2008 10:21 amI find the timing of this so called strike to be very disingenuous, falling as it does for a lot of people on Good Friday, which for a vast majority is the start of an extended long weekend, which usually means travel to see family and or other obligations, which always results in the number of posts dropping off, it's the same for any major holiday, christmas day, NYE, etc etc.
So any drop off in posting stats cannot be considered as a concious effort by protesters to stop posting, as there is NO way to quantify who is not posting due to this ridiculous strike, or who isn't posting due to the fact that their off doing something else connected with family, travelling or easter in general.
But anyway I shall do my best to counteract any perceived drop off by posting a hell of a lot today, in my own protest against the protest.
