my new pet grammar/english hate is..

People who use the word 'drug' as a past tense of the word drag, as in

'I drug myself out of bed and went to work'

The word is dragged, not 'drug' or even 'droge' as I have seen.

I have to restrain myself from smacking people around the head with a copy of Strunk and White.

Yeah, saw someone type that one recently and just wanted to kick them.

I wonder, sometimes, where these people learned English! I know MINE isn't perfect but at least I know the past participle of most verbs!
