boodiePeople who read this, the ones who still bother that is, because all I seem to do lately is whinge, well cover your eyes, here I go again..
As you may recall I posted about the saga with my Property Managers (henceforth PM) and them trying to get bPAY up and running, after several attempts they finally managed to get me a correct billing number and account.
So on the 19th as carefully laid out in their letter, I paid my rent using bPAY, not a problem, then last night I was online checking my bank account and never guess what...
THEY TOOK RENT OUT.
It seems that their fool proof system is run by fools, someone forgot to take my name off the automatic payment/direct debit, and so they took another lot of rent, another $600.
Unfortunately that left me with a negative balance in my account, so now my bank will charge me an overdraft fee, I have bills that need to be paid, and gee guess what, it's christmas eve, there was food supposed to be brought and funnily enough, money for presents as well.
Of course I got on the phone to them first thing this morning, and they apologised and will put the money back in my account, BUT as I said, it's christmas eve, this is an interbank transfer, tommorow is a public holiday, friday is a public holiday, then we have the weekend, sooo the money may be there on monday, tuesday at the earliest.
WHICH DOES ME NO FUCKING GOOD RIGHT NOW.
Thankfully my darling eldest loaned me $200 which will enable me to pay the most pressing bills, get some food, but it won't cover presents, nor any of the other little treats I had in mind to make up for the fact that this year has been one of the suckiest ever.
2008 hates me.
And we have a rental inspection this afternoon as well.
Oh the irony.
