What is on your bedside table?

bedside table all the junk from my bedside table, including the dust.

I don't have a bedside table, I have a chair, because our previous bedside tables were ratty and we couldn't be bothered bringing them with us when we moved.

On it is a clock radio, a cushion (attached to the chair), some misc books, some empty confectionery bags (licorice allsorts at the moment), some partly filled confectionery bags (licorice and humbugs). Um.. I think there's still a spanner and some bolts from when I "fixed" the bed, as well. And half the time, my mobile phone.

A mattress haphazardly tossed onto the floor! When I don't use the couch in the living room that's far more comfy, that is.

My eldest sleeps on a mattress on her floor too, always looks uncomfortable to me.

Mine has a lamp, the snake's tank, my alarm clock, 2 drink mats usually one with a mug of water and one with a cup of weak juice, my mobile phone (overnight), a small notepad, 2 pens, some tablets, 2 juggling balls, 2 pretty rocks, a large carved chess piece - black knight - and a small carved wooden netsuke of a mouse. Pretty tidy actually.. on the floor in front are two piles of books to offset and add chaos mind ;)

Mine is usually way more messy than it is now, and usually so many things on it that it's all piled high.
