leak leak leak...
Jun. 1st, 2009 10:36 amWell we found out where the problem is, re the low water pressure, Paul insisted last night that he could hear running water outside near the back door, well this morning, yes indeed you can. You can not only hear it, but see it, water is welling up from underneath the concrete slab at a great rate of knots, I rang the PM, they told me to contact the company they outsource maintenance to. So they got in touch with me, and I told them, he seemed a little bit concerned when I told him that you could now see the water bubbling up from UNDERneath the concrete.
He was going to get hold of the plumber and encourage him to turn up ASAP, and in fact here he is now!!!
This should be fun.
ETA: he dug up the concrete and 'patched' the pipe, it will need to be replaced, but for that he has to get 'further permission'. So he'll be back, sometime.
BUT we have water pressure again, and a much better one, so I suspect that the pipe had been slowly leaking for a LONG time.
