There are only TWO proven facts about Michael Jackson at the moment.

1) He IS dead (I'm 99.9% certain about that, though Plants Vs Zombies... you never know for sure)
2) The media coverage was and is OVERKILL.

Facts 3 thru to 50000000 are all rumours, hearsay, half truths and in the case of ANYTHING emanating from the raggiest of the Murdoch rags, lies made from whole cloth.

Like maybe report on the uproar in Iran, or the ethnic violence in China, or how about the most recent presidential plans to better the country, or heaven forbid another celebrity arguably less worthless than MJ, maybe Farrah Fawcett, who actually had a touch of class unlike the plastic-- okay, I'm done now. ;)

Don't be silly, none of that stuff sells newspapers, and that's what they need these days, the print media is increasingly irrelevant, and they can feel it.
