Horrendous feeling of of the day, going to the bank to pay the rent only to see that there isn't enough money in the account to cover it, my stomach just dropped to my knees.

Now I feel sick.

I live on credit. Arguably to cover "cash flow" issues due to work not being regular on payments.

I try not to think too hard about my credit balance. Let's just say, it's gone beyond "cash flow".

I have no credit to live on, I'm still paying off the having to move in a hurry from two years ago, I can't get ahead.

*hugs* I was lucky, I got it by exaggerating my employment details slightly. Moving the first time was what made me need to have it, and yeah, I can't get caught up, either. It's not the interest payments though (although those are not pleasant), its just that my outgoings match my incomings. I hope this new place has good insulation (brick house, we should be *good*) so we can keep the bills down.

*nods*

This place wouldn't be such a bitch to try and heat if there WERE SOME DOORS that could be shut.

Oh well I keep on asking and getting nowhere, but at least I have somewhere to live. It could be worse, sadly I can see it getting worse.

Is your roof insulated. I don't know if its state specific, but at least here, the government is rebating insulation installation (say that three times fast), so there is no end cost to the resident. This is available for renters and land-lords.

We'll be doing this at the new location if it's not. We just had here done, after forwarding the notice about it to the land-lord, and it made a real difference.

You know I'm not sure, I'm not even sure where the roof acess is in the house, I think it's in one of the closets.

If I cant get them to fix the plumbing, or replace the doors then I am sure they wont insulate the roof.

Doesn't cost the landlord anything. Or you can arrange it, and it doesn't cost you anything. Apparently they can have just the renters permission.

I'll have to see what it says, I'm surprised that they don't need at least the landlord to sign off on it.
