God rest ye merry gentlemen?

boodieWas sitting in the loungeroom last night, innocently watching TV when all of sudden, out of nowhere came the sound of a brass band playing christmas carols, I looked at my friend in case it was a video he'd started playing on his laptop, then at the TV, I turned that down and the sound continued, playing very loudly and not that badly.
Looked out the window and it was The Salvation Army band, right outside on the grass under my loungeroom window, then of course came the knock at the door and the lovely Salvo lady looking for a donation, I managed to scrounge $2 apologising that I didn't have anymore, then we got 'treated' to another couple of carols, including my fave and they wandered off to accost the other half of the street .
