Reminds me of the stuff I used to do ten years ago in povray. Mind you back then you had to write it all up in matrice maths laden scripting language, render it on the command line for a tiny 100 by 100 pixel test image (with most of the texture and lighting effects turned off) then leave it going overnight to render a full size 640*480 pixel image with all the proper lighting effects turned on... (if it didn't overload the system and crash)
And then I had to walk to school ten miles through the snow without any shoes on. All that while living in a paper bag in the bottom of the garden a RENTED paper bag*. Young whipper snippers like you got it easy.
