WAHHHH

I was wearing my new collar, my lovely new collar that Eyeya made for me, and my neck started to itch, from the time it took me to get to the bathroom to have a look, I had welts all around my neck where the collar was... my lovely brand new soft padded black leather collar makes me itchy..

*addendum*

Eyeya suggested a few things, and I tried one and voila, i'm wearing it now (1.00 am thursday morning) and its not itching at all

*eeps* that's no fun at all.. unless you LIKE blisters/welts around your neck..

perhaps it's not so much the collar but whatever might be on the collar?

AFAIK theres nothing on the collar at all, but i'll have to ask eyeya if he rubbed anything into it, and how to get it out if he did..

*nods* that was my thinking, perhaps your skin is reacting badly to a leather treatment that he put on the collar..

would be a shame if it's the collar itself

Boodie likes to be the master of her pets, rather then the other way around *naughty-grins*

Methinks, if it really is something not able to be removed, that it'd be a simple matter to line the collar with some fabric (flannel, etc.) which is not something you will react to. Just glue it on!

Superglue fixes all!

Actually, even lining it with gaffa tape cut to the right size after being stuck on might be enough. MUch easier too. Plus you get the glam factor of having fixed something with gaffa tape :)

it appears to be fine now, after i gave it a good wipedown, i may have been allergic to the leather conditioner.

Woot and Yay!

Much easier to wipe it than line it *big grin*

nah.... in Alaska ... 100mile and hour tape fixes it all....

or rather.. Duct Tape..... it's called hundred mile an hour tape cause that's how SuperCub pilots fix the wings on their planes.... it'll hold until about...200 miles an hour.. then it starts to come off..... no joke.
but yeah in AK duct tape can fix ANYTHING... even broken hearts
