deep breaths
Jun. 8th, 2004 03:34 pmI'm not sure how I would rate today, my new desktop arrived, (specs to follow) so that means Batty dear, you should have my old one by the end of next week, so I was pleased about that, I also brought a paper shredder, to get rid of 6 years of accumulated visa/mastercard/bank account statments, which necessitated going through my storage box. I knew that wasn't going to be fun, but it was something I had to do. Unfortunately old statements were not the only thing in my storage box.
Marriage Certificate
Decree Nisi
Divorce Papers
Christmas card my Mother sent me 2 days before she collapsed while shopping and died a week later, the one where she said that 'this was going to be the best christmas ever'
Death notices for Mum
Photos.
And then to top it all off, I asked my youngest to do something for me and she gave me that 'do I HAVE to' look and I told her not to bother and then I promptly burst into tears in the bedroom.
