Aug. 19th, 2004 02:52 pmRang IBM this morning, got a female tech support this time, she listened to all that i'd done, read the report, asked one or two pertinent questions and said..
"It sounds like your NIC is faulty, let me arrange a time for the courier to come round and PICK up the laptop and we'll send it off to have the mainboard replaced"
All over and done with in 10 mins... courier arrived about 20 mins ago and laptop is on way to Sydney, turnaround time, 1 week.
