We are under attack from ants... there are literally hundreds of the little bastards, they're covering the kitchen floor, on the benches, in the bathroom, and nothing gets rid of them.. and sorry to say elven_sorceress your room was positively crawling with them, i sprayed and stuff, but well.. the littke bastards even got into my room.

Oh, and what time does your plane get in, and what day 8-)

What is it with ants this summer? They're everywhere.

One thing that works (which may sound strange) is Ajax shower bath and tiles (it's a blue bottle). It's got an acid in it that kills the little blighters and disrupts their pheremone trails. They don't come in the same way for quite some time. (But they are inventive in finding new ways in and the teeniest speck of food.)

Urgh, we're infested with the little buggers, too! I could understand the kitchen maybe, but they're in the bathroom, the living room, the bedrooms... Argh! Even if ever skerrick of crumb is cleaned up, they're STILL getting in. Happens every summer.

the kitchen is the cleanest it has ever been, there are no crumbs, spills, stains or anything and they still come!

I feel like moses parting te red sea when i go into the kitchen and the ants all scurry out of my way.
