boodieI guess thats a small victory.. for the first time in almost 7 years, I have made it through listening to Bat Out of Hell, without crying part way through it.
Bat Out of Hell was my Mums favourite album of ALL time, and she loved the song, she used to dance around the kitchen and sing it at the top of her lungs, and it was the song that she wanted played at her funeral, so we did.
I still remember the looks on peoples faces, and I was laughing through my tears, because I just knew Mum was probably splitting her sides at the thought of her prim and proper sisters' ears being assaulted by Meatloaf belting out Bat Out of Hell.
Thats one song down, one more to go.. now if only I can stop myself crying when I hear Wendy Matthews sing 'The Day you Went Away' the other song we played at mums service.
