boodieThis house is falling apart, last night the toilet door sheared off its' top hinge, mainly due to age and the weight of the door, on what seems to be highly innapropiate hinges for the size of the door, which as far as I can work out, used to be either the OLD back door to this house, or the door to the outside loo that used to sit where the carport is.
And this morning the shower head basically disintegrated in my hands, the welding on it just gave way, and THIS is the showerhead that is only just over a year old.
*sigh* I wish I could afford to move.

Date: 2006-09-04 05:10 am (UTC)Ours is jacking our rent again - $265 a week for this old dump, where I have to hold all of the sliding windows closed with broom handles. And it's not like we can move because there's nothing else available out here. The most houses ever up for rent is 3 or 4, and they go so fast.

Date: 2006-09-04 05:35 am (UTC)I couldnt afford to move, I pay $150 a week for this, and thats the LOW end of the market for a 3bdrm house in this area.. All the houses I see up for rent now, are $180-200 a week.. thats money i just dont have.
