A question.

We all have TV shows that we love to watch that have been yanked off the air before they have had a chance to come to a conclusion, and that always pisses me off. However what about TV shows that HAVE come to their natural end, which two TV shows that you have liked have had endings that you thought really wrapped the show up, the ending can be a good satisfying one, where things work out how you think they should work out, or an ending with a twist, which although you weren't expecting, was a pretty satisfying way for the show to go out with a BANG, on.

The TV show that stands out for me, that ended with a BANG and a twist I wasn't expecting was the final ep of Blakes7, a late 70's SF show from England, I vividly remember watching the ep with my Mum and my Sister on the friday night, we were all gobsmacked, yelling at the TV 'thats NOT how its supposed to be' and we all cried, it was a devestating way for that show to end for us, but it left NO doubt that the show was OVER and that was that.

The TV show that had the best ending I expected, the one that wrapped it all up (well mostly all, the show was cancelled before some storylines could be resolved) but they managed to get MOST of the loose ends tied up, in ways that made me, an old softy very happy, was Something In The Air, that one made me cry for different reasons.

So what's yours?

Final episode of Black Adder Goes Forth. I found the whole series hard to watch because it was bittersweet humour about a tragic situation, but the final episode? *shudders* Trying not to think about it too much even talking about it actually...

Space: Above and Beyond. It ended tragically, but then again, it was a show about a war.

And if I can be nerdy for a minute.... Trigun had a good ending, though I doubt it can count being as it was a limited duration story.
