My god, if this, Bob Woolmer murdered is true and thats what happened, then good god almighty, it's just a game of cricket, yes ok your team may have lost, but to murder the coach because your team lost, i'm sorry but the blame for losing is spread throughout the team, each player bears responsibility for the loss, the coach can't go out there and bat and bowl for each one.

If you resort to offing the coach each time a team loses an important match pretty soon you won't be able to find anyone willing to coach you. Plenty of teams have lost important matches, we lost the ashes to england, yes we were dissapointed, but I dont think anyone thought that offing the coach was the way to cope with that loss, and I doubt you'd find a more passionate group of fans, especially Aus v Eng. And I'm pretty sure that while the Kiwis hated Greg Chappell with an absolute passion for the underarm incident, i honestly doubt the thought of killing him actually crossed anyones mind.

Somehow I don't think logic plays any part in the decision to murder someone, so I'm afraid telling a killer that it's "just a game" will probably have little to no effect.
