Jeeze, a bloody tsunami warning from Cooktown to Hobart, I know it's highly unlikey that we'll get any effect of the tsunami down here, but still.. My fingers are crossed for discordia_eris in Mackay, where she is a hell of a lot closer to the epicentre of the quake in the Solomons.

yeah, that was my first thought and then I realised it was the 2nd, just as well it did happen today, as no one would have believed any of it if the warnings had been issued yesterday!.

so far it just seems like extra high tides, and a bit rougher seas, mind you, I think it highlighted just how unprepared we are/were for anything like this, no one seemed to know anything.
