It is raining, more than raining, it's a downpour and it's bloody wonderful, I'm sitting here all nice and snug and warm, listening to the rain on the roof, on the windows, and for the first time in years and years I'm not listening to the 'plop plop plop' of rain leaking down the windows, leaking from the gutters and more importantly, dropping on my floor from the flooded windowsills...
