We haven't seen the end of them. We've only had a close view of what may be the end of us.

Last week SBS showed Watch The Skies: 1950's SF and Us., which wasn't too bad a doco on the SF movies from the 50's. The followed it by showing Them!, which was and is a bloody awesome 50's SF movie about giant mutated ants attacking LA.. The undertones of the ants representing communism is not overplayed, and its a brilliant brilliant movie.. Yes the FX is hokey by todays standards, but this movie actually has a PLOT and good acting, and themes... something Hollywood today might want to rediscover occassionally.
