That remindes me of the scene in Dilbert cartoon where he starts his phone answering maching:

Dilbert presses a button "*Beep!* You have 291 messages. Message 1: Hi this is Frank from accounting. I'm just calling to let you know I sent you an email asking if you saw my other email." Dilbert presses a button "*BEEP!* All messages deleted."

Ahh of course, I knew it seemed familiar, I mean I would have seen his email and known he'd sent it, so there was no need to ring me and tell me.
