I seem to have acquired another Cat, according to the Vet she is either a Devon or a Cornish Rex, she turned up here about 10 days ago, very hungry, very needy and scrawny. She has not been reported as missing at the RSPCA, The Cat Home, or any of the local vets.

In spite of being a purebred she has no ear tattoo and she wasn't microchipped, she's between 5-10 years old, the vet couldn't be sure as she is a very small kitty, and still has the long legged kitteny look about her.

We assumed that she was still a young cat from her looks, but I guess we were wrong, she's very very friendly, and loves to curl up on your chest or go to sleep on your shoulder.

Callista and Nyx are treating her the same way they treated Bucky when he arrived, hissing, yowling, screeching and hiding, I am sure they will get over it in time, they still hiss at Bucky on occasions, even now some six years later.

Bucky on the other paw just runs and hide, I can see him totally throwing up his paws and going "ANOTHER female cat to boss me around and not be nice to me"

We have not decided on a name yet, as I do not want to get too attached to her as I left my number and her description at the RSPCA and the Cat Home and the vets and someone may come and claim her.

She has a stinky butt and likes to show you said butt as often as possible, she is an obsessive cleaner and often rubs against you, all covered in cat spit. Her coat feels amazing it really does, so different from the other three.

So yeah, four cats, crazy cat lady here I come.

I love cats but am also horribly allergic. Someone suggested a Rex to me once, because of their wool-like fur and low dander. I had to explain that it's their spit I'm allergic to.

I KNOWWWW, and if someone comes to claim her I am going to be very upset, my other three cats are wonderful, but they aren't REALLY snuggly cats, this one is, she'll come and snuggle under my chin and purr. I just melt.

You will be returning her to a lovely home if someone does come forward, and be able to feel good about that. But I hope that she fled a pack of numpties who can't be arsed looking for her so she can be happy with you!

She has all the traits of coming from an only cat house, doesn't know how to share with others at all, there are a lot of old people around here, I'm maybe thinking that she belongs to one who has had to go into hospital and no one has bothered about the cat, or just shoved it outdoors and left it to fend for its self.

One of my residents had to call in the RSPCA when she had 23 cats and kittens living in her unit.

Until you get to that level of cat-titude, I'm afraid you're only a try-hard :-)

Aww thanks hon, I'll try and get a better picture of her fur as it's amazingly soft and this weird browny colour.
