"When all else fails, hug teddy"
UN Category: Inoffensive Centrist Democracy
Civil Rights: Below Average Economy: Good Political Freedoms: Excellent
Location: the Pacific
The Free Republic of Teddymania is a tiny, pleasant nation, remarkable for its burgeoning boodie population. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The large government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Healthcare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 26%. A very small private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.
Crime is relatively low. Teddymania's national animal is the boodie and its currency is the darmys.

But what's a darmys?
Or what are they -- not sure of the number, there.
