Oh well it looks like i'm permanantly banned from #lothlorien for eternity, email from RPGworlds today


We have looked in to this further. The person that is banned is in your
hometown and the ban cannot be tightened any more than what it already is.
Your isp and his isp are identical except for the last 3 digits, which
change each time you log on. Your only option is to find another isp. We
apologize for this inconvenience and regret not being able to further
assist you, but the ban is staying in place, as is.

Yeah, sure I'll just change my ISP, simple really.

If I knew who it was I would track him/her down and do something nasty, mean and quite satisfying.

See if you can get someone to set you up with a Unix/Linux shell account with a command line IRC client. It won't be as perdy as mIRC or whatever you use, but it will get you around the ban.

The person who owns the system should be able to set you up, and I'm sure you know a couple of people who qualify; just ask around.
