boodieMy glasses frames broke today, snapped clean off, no hope in hell of fixing them, so at the moment I am wearing a pair of glasses with the lenses at least 4 or 5 iterations of prescriptions old. I cant afford to get new frames as well as lenses, so I will just have to get new lenses put in these ones.
A pair of new glasses for me costs anywhere between $250 and $300, and the frames are the cheap part, the lot that just broke cost $220 and that was 3 years ago, and the frames only cost $55.
